Cattle Trespass

A. Miller was fined 10s and costs for allowing 10 head of cattle to trespass on the road at Mount Stuart. Another case against the same defendant, for allowing two working horses to wander, was dismissed.

Peter Barrow was fined 2s, and 7s costs, John Helligan, 1s and 7s costs, C. Hankey, 1s and 7s costs, and M. Winchley, 2s and 7s costs, for cattle trespass at Waihola. "The Bruce Herald", 29 February 1884.
