Below contains the names of children of Polish descent who attended the Christian Brothers School in Dunedin between the years 1885-1920 from the A.P.W.'s. Unfortunately there are no records from 1876 to 1884 .

The Christian Brothers arrived in Dunedin in 1876. That same year they took over St Joseph's School, a private establishment in Tennyson Street. The school opened on the 24th of April with 129 pupils, under the leadership of Brother Brodkin. It soon became known as the Christian Brothers Boys School. A new school building was opened in 1914. In 1916 Christian Brothers School became both a primary and secondary school and was officially registered with the Otago Education Board. As this was not a state school they were not required to keep Admission, Progress and Withdrawal Registers and so the registers that exist are of a less standardised nature. The collection at the Hocken Library, Dunedin, contains a large quantity of photographs, however many are unidentified.
