A sitting of the District Court held at Invercargill on Wednesday, when the following debtors were adjudicated bankrupts on their own petitions:-James Blackburn, William Fraser, T. J. Lumsden, William Bennison, William Blondell, John O'Donnell, and John Hesford. The public examinations of the following bankrupts were declared closed:-Patrick Carr, Harry Harpur, Isaac Plunkett, Sarah Fowler, John Cantrick, J. D. Hayes, Chas. Douglas, John Hoffman, (Mr Aldridge for the debtor ), and Juliana Price. Mr. Matthews applied for an adjournment of Thomas Davidson's application for a final order of discharge, Mr. Aldridge appearing on behalf of an opposing creditor. Adjournment granted.
