OLD AGE PENSIONS
Mr. Hawkins, S.M., dealt with a number of applications for Old Age Pensions yesterday afternoon. The following were granted pensions and the amounts are set opposite each:- James McLennan, Caudletown £18; Jane Simpson, Mt. Stuart, £18; Agnes Steel, Clarendon, £10; Catherine Teresa Caudle, Caudletown, £18; Joseph Kilner, Adams Flat, £18; Archibald Brown, Akatore, £14; Jas. Casserly, Fairfax, £10; Peter McVicar, Milton, £18; Robert Ferguson (carpenter), Milton, £18; John Cowan, Milton, £12; Marg. Cowan, Milton, £18; Aaron Kerridge, Table Hill, £18; Char. G. Sinclair, Adams Flat, £18; James Sonid, Canada Reef, £18; Bridget Ottery, Akatore, £18; Paul Bungardt, Waihola, £6; John Carl Halba, Waihola, disallowed having property over the value; Thos. J. Hill, Taieri Mouth, £18; Elizabeth Campbell, Taieri Mouth, £18; Ann Pink, Levells Flat, £18; Mary Ann Garrett, Helensbrook, £18; Sarah Sawson, Milton, £10; John Murray, Clarksville, £18; Malachi Moloney and Bridget Moloney, Fairfax, £18 each; Catherine Brown, Akatore, £18; Johanna Lynch, Fairfax, £12, Jasper Barrett, Caudletown, £17.
